Brad Walters (Vice Principal Douglas Panch) appeared as Elwood P. Dowd in Harvey, the Gravedigger in Hamlet and many other roles over the last thirty-five years at Beatrice Herford's Vokes Theatre in Wayland. His shows at Reagle Music Theatre in Waltham include Bye Bye Birdie, She Loves Me, 1776 and Annie Get Your Gun.
Brenna Kenney (Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre) is so happy to be back on the Weston Friendly stage. Some of her past credits include The Pajama Game, Ragtime, The Little Mermaid, Legally Blonde, and Sister Act. She would like to thank her mumzie, dad, Eryn, and of course Ryan for their constant love and support.
Brian Higgins (William Morris Barfée) is excited to return to the WFS stage after previously appearing as Harry in Company. This is also his second go-round at the Bee, having previously portrayed Vice Principal Panch with Woodland Theatre Company. He last appeared onstage in The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Vokes) as Bazzard (DASH nomination, Best Supporting Actor). He can frequently be found performing improv comedy in the area with NatickImprov’s Penguin Apocalypse.
Eliza Dumais (Marcy Park) is excited to be back at WFS for Spelling Bee! She was last seen at WFS in Company as Marta and recently performed in Lippa’s The Wild Party and Big Fish (Concord Umbrella). A huge thanks to family and friends for their love and support throughout this process!
John Breen (Chip Tolentino) is in his WFS debut! Other acting credits include Ren McCormack in Footloose, Schroeder in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Peter Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, Avenue Q (TCAN), Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (NSMT), and The Wizard of Oz (NSMT). When John is not onstage, you can find him decorating specialty cakes at Cakes By Design Edible Art in North Andover, MA. as well as taking voice lessons with Eva Kendrick In Medfield, MA. Katie Howe (Rona Lisa Peretti) is pumped to be making her debut at WFS after taking a year and half hiatus from the stage. Katie started performing at the age of eight and has a BFA in Musical Theatre from Tulane University. Favorite regional roles include Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Kate in Kiss Me Kate. She also played the role of Nancy Clancy in Off-Broadway’s Fancy Nancy the Musical. Many thanks to her family and friends who came out to see the Bee!!!
Michael Sterling (Leaf Coneybear) is not that smart, but is excited to be performing in his first production with the Weston Friendly Society. He was most recently seen in the ensemble of Pippin at the Footlight Club, his first production in the Boston area. Favorite past credits include Godspell, Guys and Dolls (Nicely), Once Upon a Mattress (Minstrel; Jester), and The Music Man (Harold Hill). Michael also performs with Common Sound, a local post-collegiate a cappella group. Thanks to the cast and crew, and especially to his wife Lily and daughter Sophia.
Nora Sullivan (Olive Ostrovsky) is excited to return for her 16th production with the Weston Friendly Society. Recent credits include Into the Woods (Little Red), Annie (Star-to-Be), The Pajama Game (Mae), Shrek (Dragon), and Bye Bye Birdie (Ursula). She thanks her family for all their love and support.
Scott Berozi (Mitchell Mahoney)is excited to be making his WFS debut with Spelling Bee! Previous credits include Bye Bye Birdie (Mr. MacAfee), Seussical (Mr. Mayor), The Pirates of Penzance (Major General), Sweeney Todd (Pirelli, BWW RI Regional Award Nomination) and most recently in Company as Paul.
