Samantha Casale (Ursula/Ensemble) is excited to return to Weston Friendly. She feels so fortunate to have been a part of this experience and wonderful cast, and is thankful to all who have made this production possible. She would also like to thank her parents for their continuing support of her many hobbies, and her sister for being an inspiration and bringing theatre back into her life. Laura Deschaines (Wanda/Ensemble) is happy to be back on the Weston Friendly stage. Favorite roles include Mrs. Mops in A Christmas Caroland Fruma Sarah in Fiddler on the Roof. Janis Hudson (Nickie/Ensemble) is thrilled to make her debut with Weston Friendly! She has performed professionally in New England, NYC, and the Philadelphia region including work in cabaret, improv & musical theater. Since moving to Boston, she has found her feet as a mom of two, which inspired her third original one-woman show “30-Something”, which premiered in June 2018. Memorable past productions include Next to Normal (Diana Goodman), The Rocky Horror Show (Janet), Chicago (Velma), and Into the Woods(Witch). Thank you to Sandra Hardy for teaching her about her flaws, and Andrew for loving her in spite of them.
Brenna Kenney (Carmen/Ensemble) is so happy to be back on the Weston Friendly stage. Past credits include The Pajama Game, Ragtime, The Little Mermaid, Legally Blonde, and Sister Act. She would like to thank her mumzie, dad, Eryn, and of course Ryan, for their constant love and support.
Vallery Koenig (Elaine/Ensemble) is excited to be back on the Weston Friendly stage. She has most previously been seen on the WFS stage in Annie, Miracle on 34th Street, The Pajama Game, and Jerry's Girls. She studied musical theater at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Off stage, Vallery serves as the President of the Weston Friendly board and runs her own interior design business. She would like to thank her friends for all their support and for the excitement they bring to life, the rest of the WFS Board for all their hard work, and her family for their love!
Cynthia Krebs (Helene/Ensemble) is delighted to be back at Weston Friendly. She has danced with Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and Oakland City Ballet. After joining Joffrey Ballet, an injury ended her ballet career. She earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theater and Communications at California State University, Chico. She has taught jazz, and ballet at Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, Boston Youth Moves. She is a certified barre instructor. Recent credits include Annie(Lily St. Regis), and The Pajama Game (Babe) at WFS, Company for the Holidays (Soloist) at TCT, and Chicago (Mona) at Vokes Players.
Becca Mayersohn (Suzanne/Ensemble) is thrilled to return to Weston Friendly for her seventh production, having previously performed in White Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Fiddler on the Roof, The Pajama Game, Jerry's Girls, and Annie. She also recently joined the Weston Friendly Board as Development Chair. When she is not at the Town Hall, Becca works at Walnut Hill School for the Arts as the Stewardship & Research Coordinator, and lives on-campus as a Dorm Parent with her boyfriend and pets. Sarah McGowan (Rosie/Ensemble) is in her sixth show with WFS and recently joined the Weston Friendly Society Board as Communications Director. She has previously appeared in productions with UMass Dartmouth’s Theatre Company. Favorite past shows include Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Jekyll and Hyde, You Can’t Take It With You,and The Laramie Project. Much love to her family and friends for supporting her passion for community theatre, and especially to John for understanding when she says “I can’t, I have rehearsal!” <3
Jessica Ober (Alice/Ensemble) is thrilled to be returning to the Weston Friendly stage for the fourth time! She graduated from Connecticut College in 2017, where she majored in math and minored in dance. Having completed her education certification there as well, she is in her first year teaching fifth grade at Stratton Elementary School in Arlington. Favorite shows include A Chorus Line(Val), Carousel(Louise), and Merchant of Venice(Jessica). A huge shout-out to everyone involved in this production - it has truly been a blast!
Bridget Sullivan (Frenchie/Ensemble) is excited for her sixteenth production with The Weston Friendly Society, having performed in Annie as Connie Boylan/Co-Dance Captain and The Pajama Game in the Dance Ensemble. She recently set designed and ran sound for their production of ...Spelling Bee, and set painted for many previous productions. Bridget is currently working towards her goal of being a professional potter and would like to thank her family for their endless love and support.
Bakhita Thordarson (Betsy/Ensemble) is delighted to be performing with Weston Friendly again. Recently she performed with WFS in The Pajama Game as a member of the Dance Ensemble and in Jerry’s Girls. You can catch her twice a year performing with the Concord Chorus. Currently, she teaches high school physics and astronomy and moonlights as a seamstress. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her.
Scott Berozi(Monte/Ensemble) is thrilled to be in his second consecutive production with WFS having just wrapped his performance as Mitch Mahoney in Spelling Bee! Will Candler (Married Man/Ensemble) is thrilled to be working with such a wonderful group on this production. He has been performing and directing theater for over twenty years. Will has performed off-Broadway and around the country with the National Theatre for Arts and Education. He worked locally with Cohasset Dramatic Club, Family Performing Arts Center, Hanson Recreation Drama, Massachusetts Music & Art Society, and Hat Trick Theatre. He directed numerous plays and musicals in Bridgewater, Hanson, Princeton, Scituate, and Norwell. Will's favorite roles include Paul (Company), Cardamon (Once Upon A Mattress), Mayor of Whoville (Seussical), Charles Guiteau (Assassins), and Major General (The Pirates of Penzance).
James Fernandes(Vittorio/Ensemble) is excited to return to WFS where he played Sid Sorokin in The Pajama Game and Rooster in Annie! Favorite credits include: Dan in Next to Normal, Bobby in Company, Enjolras in Les Miserables, Van Helsing in Dracula, Houdini in Ragtime, John Wilkes Booth in Assassins, Cinderella's Prince/Wolf in Into the Woods, Nicky, Trekkie Monster, Bad Idea Bear in Avenue Q, Man 1 inI Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Jitter in The Musical of Musicals, the Musical. Memorable roles include Jack (Into the Woods), Tommy (Brigadoon), Kralahome (King and I), Mayor Shinn (Music Man), Major General (Pirates of Penzance), Billis (South Pacific), Seymour/Dentist (Little Shop), and Rooster (Annie). Rick serves on the WFS Board as Membership Director and is also the Props Master for each production.
John Kulow (Waiter/Ensemble) is a freshman at Milton Academy. He is very excited to return to Weston Friendly Society after wonderful experiences in A Christmas Carol and Bye Bye Birdie. In school productions, John has played C3PO in Star Wars, Ryan in High School Musical, and Scar in The Lion King. Most recently, he has performed in the freshman musical and Milton’s school-wide winter dance concert. He is currently preparing for a spring sketch comedy production.

Joey Thordarson (Tenor Solo/Ensemble) is thrilled to make his third appearance with Weston Friendly following Annie and The Pajama Game. Joey is ecstatic to once again be involved with Sweet Charity, this time as a performer. He crewed the musical while studying voice at Catholic University in DC, and his friend, Luke Garrison, played the role of Vittorio Vidal. Luke passed away almost two years ago and Joey would like to dedicate this production to his memory. Special thanks to Weston Friendly, my friends, family, and all my voice teachers and coaches!
Josh Wright (Oscar/Ensemble)is excited to return to the Weston Friendly Society having been seen previously as Bob Crachit in A Christmas Carol and Albert Peterson in Bye, Bye, Birdie. Josh has performed professionally for over thirteen years in New York, Texas, and Connecticut. New York: Periwinkle National Theatre’s Halfway There(Barry, Mime u/s) and York Theatre’s Maybe One Day(staged reading); Connecticut Repertory Theatre: My Fair Lady(with Terrance Mann) and Mark in Rent. Josh is also a professional stage manager (The Busoff-Broadway and tour and Altar Boyzat TriArts Sharon Playhouse). He received his Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from NYU Steinhardt and BA in Theatre from University of Houston. By day, he is the office manager and a piano/voice/theatre teacher at Jammin’ With You! in Wellesley.
Josh Zammuto (Marvin/Ensemble) is excited to be in his fifth show with Weston Friendly Society. He studied dance at Dean College and he also trained with Kelly Peters. Josh has danced with Boston Dance Company and Dance Company Worcester. Recent credits include: Bye Bye Birdie and My Fair Ladywith Reagle Players, Beauty and the Beast with Commonwealth Ballet Company, White Christmas, Gypsy, Annie Get Your Gunand Singin' in the Rainwith Weston Friendly, Children of Edenwith Wellesley Players, and Experiment America at the Institute of Contemporary Art.
