Meet the "Annie" Production Team:

Dan Sullivan (Director/Set Designer) is excited to return to Weston Friendly Society for their production of Annie, having been in it the last time Friendly did it in 2012. This is his eleventh show over the past five years on the production team at WFS. He was the Director/Coreographer and Costumer of Gypsy, State Fair, Bye Bye Birdie, and White Christmas, among others. He has also performed in shows off and on with the Weston Friendly Society since The Music Man in 1999. Dan is a boston based performer, director, choreographer, and costumer. In 2015/2016 he appeared in the national/international of Annie. Thanks to the production team for all their efforts on this show. Love to MDJBNM

Hollis Welch Sullivan (Music Director) directed Friendly’s production of Annie in 2006, while her son, Daniel, played the Foley Artist and daughter, Nora, was a child in the ensemble.  Holly is delighted to switch things up this time and take on the role of Music Director while Daniel directs, both daughters, Nora and Bridget, are on stage, husband, John, helps build the sets and son, James, is an enthusiastic audience member. It’s also been great reuniting with Choreographer Meghan Rose, whom Holly had the pleasure of directing in summer shows a few years back... Holly’s long association with Friendly began in 1976 when she did makeup and hair while her parents appeared onstage in Ben Franklin in Paris. Holly is thrilled to continue the tradition of doing shows with her family!  This new mounting of Annie is especially meaningful to Holly as we remember Lauren Astley from the 2006 production and celebrate her many talents and gifts with this new, reimagined version.  It has been such a joy to work with this show's caring and talented cast, staff and crew! In her non-Friendly hours, Holly enjoys working for Jammin' With You, teaching piano and voice students one on one in their homes.

Meghan Rose (Choreographer) is humbled to join the WFS Community for Annie after performing almost 300 times in the Broadway National Tour as the Star To Be, Lily St. Regis and Cecile. She’s been performing since age ten (her first musical was Annie) and today with over 50 stage productions to date, her favorites include Roxie in Chicago, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Cosette in Les Miserables. Meghan also plays Rachel in the TV sitcom, Mi Casa Mi Casa, has worked on projects such as CBS’ Elementary, Hulu’s The Path and Law & Order: SVU. With 15 years of tap training and 4 years of BFA conservatory ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance at The University of the Arts, Meghan loves choreographing musicals catered to all dance abilities and loves working with kids. An educator, advocate, singer, actor, and fitness lover, Meghan floats between New York City and Massachusetts and is known for her sunny energy and sense of humor. She’s most thrilled to welcome her first baby in a few weeks who’s going to come out singing Annie just like his mama. This one’s for Dan, my forever Jimmy. Leapin’ Lizards! @meghanroseypants
