Call for Staff

The Weston Friendly Society of the Performing Arts is seeking directors, music directors, and choreographers for its 2008-2009 season:

Our fall production will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Auditions are scheduled for September 2 & 3, 2008 with callbacks on September 4, 2008. Rehearsals will begin on Sunday, September 6, and performances will be November 29 & 30 and December 6 & 7, 2008. This production will feature a children's chorus of at least 15 young people.

The spring production, Once Upon a Mattress, will be auditioned on December 9 & 10, 2008, with callbacks on December 11, 2008.  Rehearsals will begin in mid-January, 2009, with performances on March 27, 28 & 29 and April 3 & 4, 2009.

All auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be held at the Town Hall in Weston, Massachusetts.  Rehearsals are generally held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10 p.m. and Sunday afternoons from 2-6 p.m.  If you are interested in being considered for any of these directorial opportunities, please send your cover letter, stating both the job you wish to be considered for and your show preference, and a resume to Suzanne Singer at suzannesinger1@comcast.net by no later than March 3, 2008.
