The Weston Friendly Society of the Performing Arts
As the nation’s second oldest community theater group, the Weston Friendly Society of the Performing Arts has continued to be a key part of Weston and the surrounding towns' culture for over 127 years. This record of service to the community could not have been accomplished without the work of many volunteers and the generosity of those who have provided financial support.
The generous support from our annual donors helps us continue our mission as a non-profit organization promoting community service and fellowship. In addition to supporting the Condakes and John Barclay Memorial Scholarship Funds and the Weston Friendly Society (Senior High School) Drama Awards, we are especially proud this year to contribute to the Waltham Public Library as well as Weston Cub Scout Pack 222, which has the unique goal of making scouting accessible to all boys from any town or community in the area, irrespective of disability.
So that we can continue providing quality entertainment to the community and needed assistance to local charities, we ask that you contribute a tax-deductible contribution to the Weston Friendly Society.

If you are unable to become a donor at this time, but would like to contribute in other ways, we encourage you to join our volunteer corps. Our productions require a tremendous amount of behind-the-scenes assistance with things like building and painting sets; making or tailoring costumes; finding props; publicity and selling tickets; and ushering. Please join us by completing and returning the enclosed contact form or leave us an e-mail or voice mail with the requested contact information. Most of these tasks don’t require a lot of time-just a strong desire to join the Friendly Society community with a guarantee to meet new and interesting people.
